Project background
We were working to Skill Construction and asked to provided a service to supply and fit approx. 1000 metres of new Cornice and Restore various existing Decorative Cornices and Ceilings on site. We also provided over 5000m2 of plaster application to all of the developments ceilings and walls leaving a perfect finish for decoration
Approach Taken
There were a few challenges presented to us during this project especially when restoring some of the existing buildings beautifully ornate Existing Cornice and Ceiling Roses.
We worked on schedule to the clients programme and delivered a high class finish as requested which both the client and architect were delighted with

“We worked with City Crafts Ltd on our £4.5M development at Botanic Views, 37-39 Inverleith Place, Edinburgh. They had competed competitively in a tender and were successful in their bid. The other reasons for their selection was their knowledge of refurbishing period buildings and period cornice features. Botanic Views had a huge variety of styles of existing period cornices and roses that either needed careful repair or part renewal.
