Case Study - Amarone, Edinburgh
Project backgroundA slice of Italy is now available within the 'wow' factor Amarone restaurant, situated in a former bank on the corner of George street and St. Andrews square. The grade A listed building was recently transformed from bank to beautiful Pizzeria. We were appointed by main contractor Dimension to carry out the plaster work required to the buildings existing interior ceilings and walls.
Approach TakenThis was quite a challenging project to be involved in mainly due to the ceiling heights which reached almost 8 metres at their highest point. The existing surfaces were all textured and required preparation prior to plaster application. 2 coats of plaster were then applied in order to achieve the smooth surface which was the desired finish for the client prior to decoration.
